Here at Rituals, we like to stay current with the latest hair trends and products, especially those that help to keep hair safe and healthy. This is why we have begun incorporating Olaplex into many of our coloring services.

For most of you who do not know, Olaplex is free of silicone, sulfates, phthlalates, DEA and aldehydes and is never tested on animals. It is mixed with coloring products to minimize damage by strengthening and multiplying the protective bonds in the hair.

The Olaplex Treatment works in three steps. Olaplex No.1 is a liquid that is added to the lightener, color or toner being used. This is what multiplies the bonds within the hair. Next, the No.2 is applied after a quick shampoo and is left on the hair for 10 minutes to perfect the bonds. No.3 is a take home product that can be purchased before leaving the salon. This product is not required for the Olaplex treatment but will help to maintain the strength and integrity of the hair after thermal styling at home. This is also applied to towel dried hair for a minimum of 10 minutes to keep hair feeling soft and healthy.
